It’s important in performance to understand not in terms of right and wrong, but the best way to communicate your intent throught the performance.

Society trained us in the “right way” and the “wrong way” binary. I believe you need to learn all of the tools to do things successfully, only then you can break all of the rules purposely, and do burlesque your best way.

Lili is an award winning performer who has both pre-judged & on site judged at the Burlesque Hall of Fame. She founded the Hollywood Burlesque Festival in 2013 and sold it in 2022.
Producer of Monday Night Tease! L.A.’s Longest Running weekly burlesque show in Hollywood (14+ years), Friday Night Happy Hour, Dinner and a Showgirl (Online Show), and Burlesque After Dark

Lili has booked over 1600 separate performances and worked with both local, national and international talent. Her unique experience as a performer, emcee, teacher, and a producer allows her the eye to understand what works artistically for the performer as a work of art, and from the audience perspective of entertainment. Serving the art form and the consumer is her expertise.

Lili VonSchtupp made her debut performance at the legendary Derby in Hollywood CA, on a starry Monday night in 2004. In 2006, she competed in Miss Viva Las Vegas and performed at the legendary New York Burlesque Festival. She has headlined festivals in Vermont, Hawaii, Boston, Las Vegas, and more, Having worked with Satan’s Angel, Stephanie Blake, and studied with many burlesque educators and performers and legends,

Lili has been performing, producing and teaching since for over 20 years. She has co-hosted Viva Las Vegas with both John Waters and Elvira. Lili was hired by Tarentino for a private themed show and performed for Norman Lear and David Arquette. She holds a monthly event in for art incubation called Live My from Back Yard.
